Tron Legacy 3D is a sequel to the legendary 1982 Tron movie. The story continues with Flynn’s son as the main character who is searching for his father who has been found missing when he was a child. Sam and his friend is drawn into a visually impressive computer generated cyber world where futuristic gladiators fight among themselves in arenas. The original movie had a mediocre box office success but the visuals were groundbreaking at the time and the movie is still widely referenced in pop culture. Wachowski brothers and other artists and celebrities, who were children at the time of the release, reference to the movie as a milestone in their childhood. French duo Daft punk was heavily influenced by the movie. The duo also signed up a contract to score the new Tron Legacy movie.
